I highly recommend staying at Club Del Mar. My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The staff (owner Tom, front desk Rei and Eunice, guest service manager Jason, and restaurant staff David, William, and Alberto) were incredibly kind, helpful, and provided outstanding service. The restaurant food is great, the view we had from condo 3 was a stunning view of the ocean, the bed was comfortable, and the premises were very clean. The black sand beach is lovely and the ocean was perfect. We can't wait to return to this hotel!

First time there and had a wonderful time. The grounds and accommodations were immaculate, the staff was helpful, friendly and an absolute pleasure. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning. We did zip-line, atv tour, a day at Manuel Antonio Preserve, snorkeling, bird watching, attended a surf competition at Playa Hermosa (next beach/town south), shopping and ate at great restaurants, and the restaurant at Hotel Club del Mar was excellent.

We are repeat customers and we love it here like a second home. The location is beautiful and there are always Toucans flying overhead and Iguanas sunning themselves. This place has everything you’d ever need or want. We booked several tours through the hotel and everything is set up for convenience. You just show up and a car takes you. One of the things that puts this place on top is the staff. From the front desk to the cleaning staff (rooms are spotless) and even the gardeners. We see the same faces year after year and they’re all wonderful. The restaurant always has delicious food and we love the specials. My children will miss their afternoon boogie boarding and dips in the pool. I’ll also miss the spectacular sunsets at the tiki bar. This place exemplifies pura vida!

Club del Mar is professional in every detail. The property is spotless. The food is perfect. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Guest services manager Jason along with Kittina, William, and the rest of the staff made sure our visit was unforgettable. You can't go wrong here.

Our family (including 10 year old girl and 12 year old boy) loved staying here, even if only for one night. From the moment we got there we were greeted by the hotel manager (I can't for the life of me remember his name) - and he was fantastic! He was around and always made sure our visit was going well, without being overly intrusive. The location was great for us as it was near the more tame part of the ocean, but the waves were still nice and large! The pool was great as well and there were scarlet macaws flying around seemingly on a continuous flight pattern. The day before we arrived they even had a sloth in the tree! All in all, it was a perfect experience for day 1 of our family vacation in Costa Rica!!
